Car has 102,000 miles on it now.

But I only use the car for long trips or when there's not enough time to use the bus. Basically public transport is my car now because gas is so expensive. It just isn't worth it anymore to drive to school, I'm always late when I drive anyway.

I'll draw your attention to the second pipe out the back. Popcorn is dispensed from the one on the right. =)

yeah i'm at 9psi now after the dyno tune and i plan on upgrading to 10-11psi. need to get some nitrous or an aftercooler though. i'm thinking of ditching the blower and getting a full-race turbo kit depending on how this new job is gonna go for me...600+whp weeeeee

It cost $46 to fill up my Kia Rio the other day. And that was at the cheapest gas station around.
Im about to not have a job anymore if gas doesn't cut down, it's $4.45 a gallon for regular and all i have is a F-250 v10 & Tahoe,
it cost about $160+ to fill my tank, and i average about 11mpg. i drive 75miles to work, and 75back a day. :-X :-\ :'( :'( :'(
I'm in a desperate search of somthing small like a civic or accord for a commute to work. like a old school hooptie..
Even put up my dirtbike (2006 YZ250F) for sale or trade + some cash towards a lil cheap gas car.

For the record I don't believe you either.
Anyway I'm working on trading in/selling my TL Type-S for a very different sort of car.. I'll post it up when I grab it which probably won't be for another few weeks.

$4.45 for regular!? Where the hell do you live? Or are you just going to the most expensive places around? The highest I've seen around here was $4.35. The one I go to is $4.29.
A few days ago when I checked it was $4.49 at most places here and went all the way up to $4.79....
Hey Mystical, you may be interested in the car I'm looking at getting.. it doesn't run on gas or diesel, but CNG.. it's called the Civic GX and there are plenty of stations in our region and the southwest. Basically on average if you go to a fueling station it'll cost you $16 to fill up your tank, the range is only about 200 miles *but* you can do things like add an extra gas tank which is something I will be looking into after I get mine. Also there is a $4,000 Federal tax credit and a $3,000 California Air Resources Board rebate.
It has a small trunk, it's not going to blast you off into space but it's still pretty peppy.. and because CNG is very clean your oil will still look like honey after 10,000 miles.

TL's are pretty nice. My mom has one. The Type S spices things up. But that is insane though that CNG gas is that cheap. Then again.. the motor it powers is weak. :/
It's $0.66/gal in Utah..
Yeah, like I say the engine isn't the most powerful but realistically you never need to blast off into space, it's just a nice perk. Anyway a less powerful engine wastes less fuel in stop & go driving.
I did test drive the car last week and I have to say the acceleration isn't great but once you get going you do get fooled into thinking you're going slower than you really are.
Yeah that's the thing, I like a car with good pickup, I don't like pressing the petal all the way down to get moving. Just annoys me, kind of like a pet peeve. :/

Ya, but when you have to pay for your own car, your own insurance, gas is 5 cents higher each day, it doesn't usually end up that way. My Kia Rio picks up fast enough and it's better on gas than most of the cars out there which is definitely a plus with these insane gas prices.
I pay for my own insurance, and paid half of my car. I also pay for my gas, so that sentence doesn't apply to me. ;p
That's cool but i don't really want to buy a nice brand new car for a commuter, I wanna get a old like 1990 civic or accord somthing small & keep the nice trucks for mobbin the weekends.
gas has gone up, the lowest i've seen around is now 4.49, but they average about, 4.59 - 4.79 a gallon now,
I live in Lake Elsinore, Califorina. Gas is the highest in this state then any others i believe.
