yes, because the problem of proving he wasn't warned that he'd get fired without a license earlier is really random crap. I'm trying to reinforce your idea, which is that he needs a copy of the witness's statement, just in case.

He already caught on to that, which he showed by his post. It's not that he was previously warned that he would be fired if he didn't have a license, it's that he was fired because he didn't have one.
