Game: Warcraft III ROC/TFT
Version: 1.21
Version Byte: 0x15
Patch: W3XP_IX86_120E_121A_enUS.mpq
Patch Log:Quote--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Patch 1.21
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
FEATURES
- The game now runs natively on both PowerPC-based and Intel-based Macs.
- Player can now view frames per second using the "/fps" chat command.
FIXES
- Fixed a timing problem with the game on PCs with dual-core CPUs.
- Fixed a crash that could occur with the Frost Breath ability.
- Fixed a crash that could happen in multiplayer games.
- Fixed an exploit that could happen in multiplayer games.
Important Note on Patching for Mac Players: The file layout inside the
game folder is changed significantly by Patch 1.21. As a result, in order
to be able to install the Frozen Throne expansion from CD, you must
install Reign of Chaos first, then install Frozen Throne from CD, and then
patch to version 1.21, in that order. If you patch to v1.21 and then
attempt to install Frozen Throne after that, it will not install
correctly.

Hmm, attempted to patch BNLS caused it to crash--oops?
I blame you userloser for not being able to load my bot!
Ahh, finally I can enjoy war3 on my mac without windows :D
You've been able to for the longest time

Rosetta slows things down a great deal. Kind of like your mind -- that slow.
You've been able to play Diablo, Warcraft, WoW, and Starcraft on Mac natively for as long as I can remember. I don't know what this Rosetta you speak of is

http://www.apple.com/rosetta/
I find it funny on Apple's site, in the link it says:
QuoteHere are all the instructions you'll need: double-click the application icon. Behind the scenes, Rosetta dynamically translates most of your PowerPC-based applications to work with your Intel-based Mac. There's no emulation. No second-class status. It looks and feels just like it did before. On a Mac, you'd expect nothing less.
Well, obviously not seeing as they had to patch StarCraft because it was running slow. :p

Has BNLS been updated yet? Battle.net is still telling me that the version data for WAR3 from BNLS is old and needs to be updated. :(
From what I heard on bnet, programs using bnls for war3 aint working. But bncsutil still works just fine with it

Is anyone looking into this?
I've IMed and PMed Sky a few times.
Thats as best as I could do.
This is vary unlike him to leave BNLS unpatched for so long....
Usually he jumps at the chance to work on BNLS.

Patch format changed, so BNLS crashes expecting other values kinda like my app does (except mine didn't crash :P)

Psh, whenever you want :)
So is w3 still not working for bnls or did he fix it?
bnls.valhallalegends.com is still not fixed.
However, if your bot allows you to set what BNLS server to use, then hdx.jbls.org does work.
And there's always still local hashing! Woot for ver Checkrevision

Does anyone host hash files anymore?
dunno, I just use the game folder as my hash location. I, and almost everyone I know who used to host hash files got takedown notices from blizzard.
you may wanna expect a takedown notice some day soon, since everyone says bliz reads these forums.
Hi Blizzard! I like cookies! Also, WoW sucks.
I get like 4000 DMCA notices a day, the datacenter just trashes them... If they somehow convince someone to care I'll move it to a Canadian box... Stop being a tool.
