Title: Intel SpeedSuck™

I've got this laptop with an intel proc with speedstep. While playing wow, the processor will get hot, and instead of turning on fans or whatnot, it will slow the processor down to 600mhz... is there a way to disable speedstep? I found something in the bios but it just sets the proc at the minimum speed it can run at...

There's programs out there where you can control how the fan works. I'll get the name of the program from my friend tomorrow..

I use a program called SpeedSwitchXP (http://www.diefer.de/speedswitchxp/).
