What's needed to know? Be more specific....What are you packet logging? What protocol?, What port?

Also include other information like...
- Full Name
- Credit Card #
- PIN
- Account Number
- Address

Seeing as how it's in Battle.net Bot Development, I'm going to venture he's packet logging a Battle.net connection of the BNCS variety on port 6112.

Some people get off topic  ;)

But you're probably correct.

Well rabbit is correct. How do I filter Ethereal to only log TCP/IP packets?

tcp.len > 0 && tcp.port == x

Capture -> Interfaces -> Capture...

Where you see the "Filter:" Put "tcp"...Doesn't get much more simple.

You simply could have left it at that, and not have made a smart remark. (period)

How about we just stop before we end up flaming one another? I appreciate the help, but it's not appreciated when somebody go out of there way to point out somebody's lack of mental work, which is obviously what your trying to do.

You clearly made it sound like you had never used Ethereal before; if you said "Could someone help me filter packets" then I would of left that out. Think before you speak.

All I see is two people trying to come to reasonable conclusions about a slight tipped off argument about Ethereal, and a totally irrelevant person butting in?
