Title: Crackmes & REA (Reverse Engineering Academy)
Post by: TheMinistered on January 02, 2007, 09:52 PM
I thought I'd post a two very nice places I am an active member of.  These sites really help you get into reverse-engineering and honing your skills.

www.crackmes.de
the worlds largest repository of crackmes in the world, i believe.  crackmes are good for keeping sharp.  they also help a beginner work his way up and learn various anti-cracking/keygening/hacking techniques from beginner to expert.

if you go to the forum on crackmes.de, you will find a very nice and supportive/active community.  You will also find something called Reverse Engineering Academy.

This is basically a huge challenge with some of the hardest crackmes/keygens/hackmes out there.  It really tests your reversing skills on a wide range.  From learning how to unpack, unencrypt, unobfuscate, fix apps, add extended functionality to apps, alter apps, keygenning, uh and many other things as well.

I highly suggest if you want to learn how to reverse, start here.  Once you learn how to reverse... you can do just about anything on the computer.  You're basically unstoppable with a few good tools ;}
