The war isn't in Israel, is it? The Israelis invaded Lebanon, but I haven't heard of any troop movements near Jerusalem yet.

Anyway, I don't live near the north, so the current situation doesn't affect me directly. And I wouldn't be worried about being "sent to the lines".

Israel has probably the most advanced military technology in the world, next to the US. They wouldn't still be around if they couldn't take down a few shoulder-fired missiles.

Yes, you heard right. The missiles are quite long-range (20-30 miles).

Short-ranged compared to an ICBM, I suppose :)
