It's where i first found my introduction to it, and I'm glad its there, has various tutorials for beginners all the way up towards the advanced levels, If your looking for a beginning in the world of HTML I suggest giving this site a look over.
I have never started learning anything where they say "beginners" should start. Here is my most oftenly used resource for HTML: www.htmlhelp.org (web developers group). Less often, I use www.w3.org (the world wide web consortium). I find that htmlhelp.org has good tips.
