Title: Issue: Resizing a Linux partition
Post by: topaz on February 04, 2006, 12:36 AM
I've tried to use gpart/gparted to resize my ubuntu partition, but I either get denied, or stoneewalled by read-only access when I go onto the LiveCD. Anyone have any ideas?

You have to su into root, unmount the disk and then mount it again with write access.  You should then be able to resize it.
