that's fake. It would burn... not blow. And whats with the fan not being on? Is it supposed to be obvious it's a joke? I think I'm missing this and over analizing.

Even if the fan was on with the top off, it wouldn't help. Opening the case would disrupt the air flow, and the fan is essentially useless. If the Duron was heated to like 100' C, it could go right through the board.

But no matter what, it wouldn't explode... it would burn. It would start smoking immediatly and basically just fry and that would be that.

The capicitators could be located below that cover, and the point of pressure would force it to go up(?)wards. All theoreteical, of course :P

Doubtful... the only capacitor going below that thing would have to be a very tiny one. Large capacitors would be located around it but not under the socket.
