Wow, to both Rose Bowl bound teams after yesterday... USC and Texas scored basketball-type points against both teams.
I mean my lord... Texas with 70 and USC with 66. Given, Texas played a far inferior Colorado team but they held them to 3 points. USC really only gave up 6 points before all the starters sat down but ended up giving up 19. USC's defense, IMO, really stepped up to silence the critics against that insanely talented UCLA offense. Wow, this is going to be one hell of a Rose Bowl!
And why not? USC and Texas have been on a collision course for 5 years. Five straight years of top-2 recruiting classes.
Put all the talent on two teams and why not expect they will meet in the championship game? This is a no brainer that they would trash everyone and meet like this.
