Title: Looking for sound recorder
Post by: Spht on November 11, 2005, 09:23 AM
Does anyone know of a program that allows you to record audio on multiple tracks?

Mainly wanting to play music audio while recording several voice overs at real time (music, and each voice over would have its own track).

Thanks.

I use Audacity (http://sourceforge.net/projects/audacity) for some of the stuff I do.

Instead of pointing out the obvious, possibly you should provide a suggestion.

I suggest, GoldWave (http://www.goldwave.com/) although, I believe purchase is required.

The only programs I know that have that capability are music making programs like frooty loops, cubase, reason, and logic. But I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for.
