Title: My DSL Modem's IP
Post by: JTN Designer on November 11, 2005, 12:05 AM
Another Windows XP Pro SP2 issue...I'm running AIM/RealVNC and the both think that my IP is my DSL Modem's address. However it never did this when I ran my DSL connection as PPPoE; and no I do not want to go back to PPPoE. Any thoughts on how to change this?

I would assume that the software you are using would allow you to enter in your own IP?

I never installed my modem technically, but windows recognizes it, but alot of my local program's see that my IP is actaully my subnet mask.
