hi, I need a file splitter for a 17.1 gig file (text file).. any ideas?

WinRAR can split files into multiple archives.

I don't want the split text files in zip archives..I need them seperate lol.
isnt dd for linux? :-\
I need this program for windows please. I just need to split this 17 gig file into smaller text files.

Here's a class (http://www.codeproject.com/file/textfilesplitter.asp) that performs what I think you're trying to do.

Ah, nevermind, didnt work.. the textfilesplitter sat for like 10 minutes, then closes. No files outputted, nothing :-\ well ill try tune-up.com

Edit: Topaz, what do I click in TuneUp utilities? I'm not seeing it.. :(

Nevermind, ended up using 'JR Split File Pro'
