+1 to Yoni for suggesting Fortran, however my first  choice would have been Visual Cobol.

Fortran does process the r-bit subroutine needed for the authbin sequence with amazing speed.  It can produce errors if you  don't set the pointer to the correct sprite location during the spinup of the counters though.  That is why I prefer VisCob (Visual Cobol).  VisCob also has a viscous fast compiler for SlackHat Linux.

Overall I rank them like this:

1:  VisCob
2:  Fortran
3:  QBasic
4:  ANSI C
