Well I study Java, Visual Basic and C++ in school... not much of a bot developer, I program full blown applications, but I can help with what I can :P

What types of applications have you written? Just out of curiousity. ::)

Do you ever post anything other than nonsense?

Would it be possible for me to beta? ::)

I've heard some good things about Darkbasic, how good is it?

If you pay close attention, I might do a trick.

Explicit, when beta is out you can test.
Also Dark Basic's syntax is like that of C#, but it has Visual Basic references incorporated, soits the dark side of Visual Basic :P

Darkbasic is yuck. Why do you need those three languages to code a single bot? Is it just to trick all the kiddies into thinking you're a super-leet programmer?

Quit the flaming, 9 out of your past 10 posts have been either a flame or just down right stupid.

It's been nearly a month since that last post, so why post in here again?

"kiddy languages"? What should a "real language" contain?

Do you mean languages which are interpreted? *shrug*

I wouldn't program anything in all those languages.
Makes the code messy and spread out. Screw that.

Anyways, welcome.

a language that can let you do anything that you want to. for example you can make an OS in C++ while you cant in VB and other languages

You're "learning" C++ because you can write operating systems with it? I prefer languages that are more restrictive, which forces you to think in ways you don't usually think - VB6 is teh aw-sum in that respect.

Mangix, quit agreeing with me.

Make operating systems in C++? Not withought doing some stuff with constructors in the initiation.
Not very practical unless you are very good at OOP

You seem to be missing crucial points. VB is a high level language made to SIMPLIFY programming, unless you want full control of a program (allocating your own memory, spawning your own threads, etc) it's perfectly fine to use something like VB for Rapid Application Development. Let's see, that's what it was made for.

It surely doesn't make it a "kiddy" language since it must be pretty damn powerful if it's  widely used amongst people. It must be pretty powerful if it automaticly handles all of the things you would usually do yourself in a lower level language.

Each language is better or worse in different areas, VB and other highlevel languages have a different goal than low level languages.

Hell, by your logic I should see you program nothing but assembler since you seemed so hell bent on having a language which can do everything.
