[19:52:29] Checking versions and CD-key...
[19:52:30] Battle.net asserts that game must be patched to a later version with patch file "D2DV_IX86_110A_111A.mpq"!

Is there a way I could upgrade D2 without actually installing this on my computer? Ive been owrking hard to get that file without doing so, and Ive run into many brick walls.

You have to wait for *somebody* to see what's wrong with BNLS' patcher since it supplies a "Filesize mismatch" error when trying to patch it.

You cannot solve this problem your self.
