Hi, i'm not very good at bot programming, but I am very good at visual basic, I was wondering if someone could set me up a basic bot that connects to war3 or d2x bnet and email me the source, so I could work off of that. Thanks.
If you just want to copy someone else work then you should just use cleanslatebot2.

Lol MyndFyre, that's exactly what I was thinking. Miv, you can look around at bot sources (for reference only) at zeroforce.net. I recommend that you don't use these sources for your final project. What you should do is learn from them. I would also suggest that you learn how to read packet logs. Also, when you get that far, bnetdocs.valhallalegends.com (http://bnetdocs.valhallalegends.com) is also a great site to use for Bot Developement help.

You're missing the point. You can be good at VB, and good at programming, but the truth is that you can be good at VB but not programming.
Mynd - I think you missed the word "bot" :-P
Other guy - Get Ethereal (http://www.ethereal.com) packetlogger, and log some connections to Battle.net as well as traffic ON Battle.net. They'll give you a bit of a feel of how the connection and packet structure looks. You should be familiar with that before you even try writing a bot.
Thanks for the feedback, I think im going to dl some bots and look at the code, I just wasn't sure to do that cuz of virus' and such

Well people are having problems finding any cleanslatebot ver it may be a good idea to sticky a cleanslatebot F.A.Q here in the forums that links to topics all ready made which should lower the amount of worthless posts that happen and make sure to include all the files as well.

Well yeah i had/have a version of CBS3 i don't remember how i got it, but i can possibly dig it up n post it, if i still have it, its supposly the release before cuphead went to jail.. (as i hear)

I dunno, it doesn't look anything to comparison as 2 when i did look at it, maybe it could have been updated by someone else, but it had his name on it, somthing about a new generation class.. also supported w3/w3xp i don't remember if csb supported that.
