Title: Delphi 2005

I have downloaded Delphi 2005 and I wanted to know if anything knows of any good sites and/or books to learn the Lang?

Your local library may contain good books for Delphi. Or maybe if you can find an eBook?

Ok this might be a stupid question But .... Is Delphi and Pascal the same thing? On the tuts I am reading I see them mention them both and in delphi some of the file extentions are .pas. Also bnetdocs has the const for .pas

So Yea are they the same thing?

Yes; I believe Delphi grew out of Turbo Pascal.  I think Delphi is some kind of OO layer for Pascal (like C++ is to C).

i dont know where i got this but some site told me that Delphi is accually an IDE for Object Pascal.

Yes, it is. The two are so closely linked, though, that Delphi may as well == Object Pascal.
