Anyone know how to factor this? x^3 + 8y^3
i've been working on it for like 30 minutes and still cant figure it out
Nudge:
1. x^3 = -8y^3
2. log()
3. Take it from there :D
i dont recall doing logs in factoring at all...just that crazy FOIL thing
Ever come across an assignment where the answer is "not possible" ?

oh, those suck,
x^3 + 8y^3 =
= x^3 + (2y)^3 =
= (x+2y)(x^2 - 2xy + 4y^2)
no?
