It's interesting how he plays through audio cues. He had to probably learn thousands of sounds and guess how the opponent was moving when they strafed.

That sounds more like the blind guy got him in a grab with block+kick, seeing as how even the most retarded rednecks can figure out in about 5 seconds that moving the joystick (usually labeled "move") makes the character move.
