Has anyone here ever received packet 0x37? It may have something to do with Diablo II if anyone has any insight.
A packet dump could be usefull.
To my knowledge, 0x37 has not been seen since the D2 beta...
Yes, post a packet dump because we have seen this in the past where someone has a broken handler and it's just clumped 0x0f's or something silly like that :P

Could have sworn I put up what I had for that a while ago
I've recieved some funny packets with either a null DWORD or no payload at all in the last month or so too. No one had heard of them though and they weren't using high packet IDs so I figured it wasn't important.
I never received it. I don't know why it's there :)
FYI, LivedKrad is our latest addition to BnetDoc's editing staff. Thanks LK!

Thanks for what?
Giving up his valuable time to make bnetdocs better? :)
So there is a packet that no one has recieved and is undocumented? This sounds alot like the sickness that has no symptoms, cannot be detected, but luckily there have been no cases.
Edit: The above is a quote from the wonderful Carlin.
It's here because you told me to ask on the forums about it, after I had asked you why it was on BnetDocs in the first place. Remember? After I had asked about what game you received it for? I feel like a fool.

Indeed, a packet dump could be useful. Something else that could be useful would be showing your code to verify that it's not some whacked problem on your end.
And then the last thing (toughy?) we could do is follow the network handlers in the game you were connecting as, and see if the packet has some special meaning or is simply ignored.

Huh? I had no idea it was something so mysterious. I figured it was something useful, or it wouldn't have been added at all. Apparently no one knows about it, so it can't be that important, so we may as well delete it. So, asking on the forums worked!
