....Looks fine to me. You can go to your Advanced Desktop Properties to fix all of this up. Whatever the problem might be.

Well, I re-installed my graphic drivers and that didn't help, any other suggestions?

That black shit would be a shadow. Turn your theme to Classic Windows.

I see nothing wrong.

Is there a problem with your video card or monitor, perhaps?

It was fine in Windows Classic, but when I switched back I had the same problem. The porblem occured after: I installed Webroots' Spy Swepper, and Webroots Windows Washer. Then I uninstalled them aswell ( I also ran both of the programs before I uninstalled ). Perhaps that info would help me?

You might want to try right clicking on my computer, going to advanced, and setting some display stuff on and off

WINDOWS ISN'T SPYWARE.  It's wasteware.  XP Themes suck, use classic.

Read my post? I got so bored last night that I took screenshots of the directions - how to change tooltip color, etc.

He said he scanned for spyware, when the shadows and bluriness are actually your $300 going down the drain (as opposed to the huge security holes).  XP Themes are heavier on the CPU, and if you ever noticed, classic theme is ALWAYS on, and them XP themes are drawn over them, which means that you're wasting time calculating all the bullshit to cover up a perfectly good UI.

I scanned for spyware, because I had it my system was slowing down, and I found around 50+ spyware on my computer. Thanks to everyone that helped out, I just formatted after :-P

What would be better: Windows XP Theme or Windows Classic. I have Windows XP Home Edition running as a OS on this computer.

Classic if you dont use themes. if you do, get the iSkin. makes Windows look very...Urban.

as for your problem, i dunno if this will help, but right click on an empty spot on the desktop, click properties, click settings, and find the color thing. it should say High Color 32-bit on it. if it doesnt, then change it.
