Title: Windows NT 4.0 installation on an iMac?
Post by: Joe[x86] on May 23, 2005, 10:33 PM
Uh, yeah. I was snooping arround the Windows NT 4.0 Workstation CD a while back and saw a crapload of PPC files. Does anybody know exactly how I can install Windows NT on my iMac, if I can at all?

Not sure.  From the Windows NT 4 Requirements (http://www.microsoft.com/ntworkstation/ProductInformation/productoverview/systemrequirements/) Page:

RISC-BASED SYSTEMS

Workstation with Alpha AXP, MIPS R4x00, or PowerPC processor

Quote# Workstation with Alpha AXP, MIPS R4x00, or PowerPC processor
# 16 MB of memory
# 110 MB of available hard-disk space
# CD-ROM drive or access to a CD-ROM over a computer network
# VGA or higher-resolution display adapter
# Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
Yep. Oh yeah. Of course. Duh. Yep. Why do I have a Microsoft mouse? (Oh well, I do.)

I'll try booting up in CD-Mode.

EDIT: Aparently its not bootable. That makes me sad.
