edit:nvm. SMF sucks. i tell it to make the link irc:// but it automatically makes http:// at the beginning. IRC://irc.tehnetwork.org:6667/vL

yes it should. /6667 makes it a directory not a port. well it would accually try to join channel 6667 on port 80(I think).

it is a port becauase if i try to connect with icechat is says this:

[09:38] * Attempting to connect to irc.tehnetwork.org/6667 on port 6667
[09:38] * Socket Error: 11001 : Authoritative answer: Host not found
[09:38] * Connection closed from irc.tehnetwork.org/6667
