Title: Winsock License information not found fix!
Post by: Tontow on May 14, 2005, 12:45 AM
Look in Windows\System (or WINNT\System32) folder and find the
WINSOCK.SRG file, then open it with the notepad.  If you can't figure it out from then then lol  :P .  If you do figure it out then you will no longer get the Winsock License information not found.

or you could take a look at the several other workarounds at http://www.vbip.com/forum/topic.asp?id=2984&keyword=winsock%20license

no more csocket for me :)

I know, its an old topic, but I ended up with the need to get the licence for a few other controls and it seems that all of the controls have a .srg file that contains the registry licence key.

So no more "I don't have the license for (control) can you give me one?"
