Does anybody have any idea what the gem/perfect gem in Diablo II and Warcraft III do?
I sniffed packets, and nothing happens when gem is activated/deactivated, but I never had the patience to get to perfect gem...
My guess is, it does nothing; it's just there to bug people ;-)
(and it's working)
There's a gem in Warcraft III?
Yes, a small one from what I hear.
The one in War3 is in the World Editor.
I have noticed that while it is activated, deleting units/buildings shows their death animations, rather than just having them disapear.
Yes, finally, now I can make a database of every units death animation, and rank them on a scale from 1 to "TOTALLY KIX ASS", then create individual avi files, so people can download them and use them for their websites and forum avatars!
How exciting! :-P
when askin a rep about what diablo II's perfect gem they say "it turns on as its soposed to". If someone was to figure out what is does why would blizzard want you to wrek your mouse by pressing the gem 99 billion times.

A common misconception is that a perfect gem is the best.
This is wrong - the best is the gem that goes "Mooooooo!"
:) It does nothing.
A Gem that goes "Moooooooo" WOULD be perfect :-)
"TOTALLY KIX ASS"
I would prefer a Gem that goes "Baaaa".
A cow can kick a sheep's ass any day ;)
Depends on the sheep
baby llamas 8)
got that off of the jimmy neutron show hehee
Ugh, Llamas.. I'm sick of them from Sim City. :-)
remember Humans cloned a sheep you didnt see them cloning cows now did we? but then again you could look on the other side and think did we do a sheep first because if we screwed up we don't really care?
