I'm pretty much a nobody, however I do enjoy talking (in this case typing).
If your a nobody, why not make yourself NOT a nobody, you know, get to know people, post your ideas, get friendly. Then im 100% sure you wont be a nobody.
For example: Look at UserLoser. I was reading posts way back in 2002 and he was getting whacked around the ear by some of the people here, but now hes A well known decent programmer. See how he went from a nobody to a well known person? Maybe you could do that too ? :P

I don't know if I should laugh or poke you with a stick and then laugh. I am going more toward option 'B' though.

Anyway, back to real stuff...
If you want to start programming, I suggust C++. Although C++ is harder to learn, it will get you farther and your understanding of programming (and logic) will be better. There are may C++ compilers out there. Just try a google search (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=C%2B%2B+Compiler&btnG=Search). There are also alot of great tutorials for C++ (http://www.cprogramming.com/tutorial.html), just look around for those too. If you really don't want too much of a challenge, I suggust C# or Java (http://java.sun.com/), they are basically the same, but Java has a free compiler and you can get NetBeans (http://www.netbeans.org/), a free IDE (Intergrated Development Environment). I would stay away from VB if you want to program as a job. Send me a PM if you need some [legal]software[/legal].
If you do not want to program, ignore the preceding statement.
