Big Bad Registration Issue

I created an account, Joe[x86] for the record, and tried to log in, and it didn't work. I got the thanks for registering page and everything too, leading me to think my account was created.

At any rate, I went back and registered again: Thanks for registering.

Whats up? Either registration doesn't work, because it doesn't create the account, or registration doesn't work, because it doesn't check if the account is existant.
